Keerthy Suresh and Prakash Raj have been roped in to play key roles in superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film with director Siva and Sun Pictures, which has been tentatively titled ‘Thalaivar 168’.
Expressing happiness, Keerthy tweeted: “Extremely happy to announce this magical milestone in my journey . From being awe struck of @rajinikanth sir to sharing screen space with him will be my most cherished memory in my life. Thank you @directorsiva sir @sunpictures 🏻 #Thalaivar168.”
It may be recalled that Rajinikanth had shared the screen space with Keerthy’s mother Menaka Suresh in 1981 blockbuster ‘Netrikkan’. Sources say that besides Keerthy, there will be one more heroine in ‘Thalaivar 168’ and an official announcement will be made soon.
Soori is already there in the cast, while the movie will have musical score by D Imman. It is learnt that Imman has already started composing tunes for the high profile project and is keen to deliver super hit songs that would be a mix of mass and class elements. Shooting for the film is expected to commence soon.
