When the clock stuck 5 last evening, ‘Summa Kizhi…’, a single from superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Darbar’ was unveiled. Fans, who were waiting for that moment, were excited to see a pulsating number on the lines of their thalaivar’s intro songs in the 1990s and became more than happy.
Soon, the song crossed five million real time views on YouTube and set a new benchmark. Not just the fans of Rajinikanth, but everyone else is raving about the energetic song, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, penned by Vivek and crooned by S P Balasubrahmanyam.

Rajini is playing the role of a police officer, Aditya Arunachalam in ‘Darbar’, directed by A R Murugadoss in his first association with Rajinikanth and bankrolled by Lyca Productions in their second partnership with the superstar after ‘2.0’.
Nayanthara has been paired opposite Rajinikanth in the film, in which the ‘thalaivar’ will be seen as a top police officer in Mumbai. Suniel Shetty, Shriya Saran, Pradeep Puppar and Yogi Babu will be seen in pivotal roles. The movie is slated for release during Pongal 2020.
