With his last few films not doing well in the box-office, Suriya is under pressure to deliver a blockbuster hit. Hence, the actor has come up with a strategy as part of which he will do films with
“Suriya was about to do a film with director Siva. However, the ‘Viswasam’ maker has been roped in by superstar Rajinikanth for his next film to be produced by Sun Pictures. Hence, Suriya has now decided to team up with Hari and Vetrimaaran,” sources said.
It is said that preliminary talks have been initiated with Vetrimaaran and the director too is keen to work with a thorough professional like Suriya. While Hari will join hands with the actor for the sixth time after ‘Aaru’, ‘Vel’, ‘Singam’, ‘Singam 2’ and ‘Si 3’.
In the meantime, there is also a buzz that Suriya would team up with director Bala, who gave a fresh start to his career with ‘Nanda’, as well, But nothing is official as of now. Currently, Suriya is busy with the post-production works of ‘Soorari Potru’, a film helmed by Sudha Kongara of ‘Irudhi Suttru’ fame.
Suriya’s last release was ‘Kaapaan’directed by K V Anand, in which he had played a NSG commando. Before that, he had the release of Selvaraghavan-directed ‘NGK’.
