Shruti Haasan, who has spoken about her breakup with Michael Corsale and past relationships, has said that she learned a good lesson from all her relationships and considers it as a good experience.
“However, I always look out for that one great love and I will be happy to announce that this is the one I have been waiting for,” the actress-musician-singer said.
Shruti also spoke out about her alcohol addiction and how she overcame it. In a talk show with Lakshmi Prasanna, she said there was a time when was addicted to whiskey which had also affected her career graph.
Shruti added that but last year, she pulled the plug on alcohol and has been sober ever since. The eldest daughter of veteran Kamal Haasan also said that she fell ill severely recently and took treatment for it.
According to Shruti, she took a break from her acting career due to this reason. Recently, she said women still feel the need to protest for their rights, not only in India but all around the world. Shruti, who is popular in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi industries, said this at a get-together for women organised by RPG Foundation.
“People organise marches and protests for women’s rights and I find it weird that we still feel the need to do these protests for women’s safety and equality rights. It has been happening for years. I do believe there is a change in the scenario but I feel sad that the problem still exists,” she said.
