Venu Madhav passes away, Telugu stars pay tribute

Noted Telugu comedian Venu Madhav, who starred in over 150 films, passed away on Wednesday. The 39-year-old died because of kidney-related ailments at a private hospital in Hyderabad.

Members of the Telugu film industry paid rich tributes to the late comedian and started posting condolences on social media. Many actors including Mahesh Babu, Nani, Gopichand Malineni and Varun Tej paid their tributes to the talented actor on social media.

Mahesh Babu posted: “Extremely sad to hear about the demise of Venu Madhav garu. May his soul rest in peace. Extending my heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.”

Nani said: “I remember how much I controlled my laughter holding the clap board when Venu Madhav gaaru was in the frame during Radha Gopalam. His energy and timing are unmatchable. God bless his soul and my deepest condolences to the family.”

Varun Tej said, “#RIPVenuMadhav garu. Thank you for your contribution to telugu cinema. Condolences to his family and friends,” Gaddalakonda Ganesh tweeted: “#RIPVenuMadhav garu. Thank you for your contribution to telugu cinema. Condolences to his family and friends.”

Gopichand wrote: “Saddened to know the news about Venu Madhav Garu demise. your contribution to TFI will be remembered forever. My sincere condolences to the family.#RIPVenuMadhav 🙏

Bellamkonda Srinivas posted: “Rest in peace #Venumadhav garu,Thank you for entertaining us with you are impeccable comedy timing my condolences to the family !#RIPVenuMadhav.”
