In an interesting development, Arvind Swami has been roped in to dub for Chiranjeevi in the Tamil version of the latter’s magnum opus ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’.
According to sources, director Surender Reddy was on the look out for a suitable voice to fit Chiranjeevi’s and he felt Arvind Swamy’s voice would do justice.
A period drama set in pre-independence era, ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ is produced by Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan. While Nayanthara and Tamannaah are the female leads, Amitabh Bachchan, Sudeep and Vijay Sethupathi have played key roles.
The teaser of the movie, which was unveiled recently, won the admiration of many, including celebrities. Also, Chiranjeevi confirmed the release date of ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’, by saying that the film would hit the screens on October 2.
Last week, reports stated that makers of mega star Chiranjeevi’s ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ decided to trim the film by 15 minutes.
“Around 15 minutes of scenes from ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ are being chopped off to make the movie more crisp and interesting,” sources said.
