Ramana Girivasan and director Atlee share a great rapport when it comes to writing scripts. Ramana, who had co-written the scripts of ‘Theri’ and ‘Mersal’, has joined hands with the filmmaker for Vijay’s upcoming film ‘Bigil’.
While ‘Mersal’ had some controversial political dialogues, Ramana says there will not be any political dialogues in ‘Bigil’, which is slated to hit the screens for Deepavali.
He also says there will be more comedy in the film. “Despite Vadivelu’s presence, we missed adding more comedy scenes in ‘Mersal’, but in ‘Bigil’ fans will surely enjoy the lighter moments featuring Vijay sir, Vivek, and Yogi Babu.”
He added: “I can also guarantee that there will not be any political dialogues in the film.” According to Ramana, “Besides the usual glamour and comedy scenes, Nayanthara also has an important scope in the film.”
The film produced by AGS Entertainment has music by Oscar-Grammy winner A R Rahman. A sports-based film, ‘Bigil’ has also has Indhuja Ravichandran of ‘Meyadha Maan’ fame in a key role.
