Apparently upset with the inordinate delay in the making of his maiden sci-fi film, Sivakarthikeyan has reportedly decided to take over its production.
RD Raja’s 24AM Studios, which bankrolled Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Remo’, ‘Velaikkaran’ and ‘Seema Raja’, was producing the yet untitled sci-fi movie, directed by Ravikumar of ‘Indru Netru Naalai’ fame.
According to reports, Raja is not in a situation to bankroll the film since his production house is in deep financial trouble. “Hence, Sivakarthikeyan himself has decided to take over the project,” sources said.
Bollywood actor Shard Kelkar will be Sivakarthikeyan’s villain in this film, which has musical score by Oscar-Grammy winner A R Rahman. Sharad said, “I’ve always wanted to do a Tamil film, for, I’ve heard a lot about the industry from my friends who’ve been here and done it.”
is the heroine of the movie, which is a big budget project. Sivakarthikeyan had produced films such as ‘Kanaa’ and ‘Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja’.
