Simbu aka STR, who has turned super professional lately, has been shooting amid tough conditions for his upcoming film with Gautham Karthik.
Updating from the sets of the movie, the ‘Kadal’ hero posted: “No matter, heavy winds, scorching heat, pouring rain or dust clouds, all of which we faced today. We keep on moving forward, always forward. Under the direction of #Narthan sir, the Show goes on!”.
Gautham also added that the first schedule of the flick has been wrapped up. He wrote: “And that’s a schedule wrap! Time to go home, relax and plan our next schedule and get back to work asap! “.
The film, a Tamil remake of Kannada hit ‘Mufti’, is being hemed by Narthan, who directed the original as well. The yet untitled flick is being produced by K E Gnanavelraja of Studio Green.
Simbu, who is normally known for earning brickbats from a few producers in whose films he had worked, recently earned the laurels of Mathiyalagan of Etcetera Entertainment, producer of ‘Maha’. In the film which has Hansika in the lead, Simbu has played a cameo.
Mathiyalagan said, “Unlike what others say, he comes to the sets on time and super cooperative to the producers. We couldn’t arrange him a caravan but he took it easy and said that these things won’t come on the screen so asked us to start concentrating on the progress of the shoot.
While we were preparing for scenes, he preferred taking rest in an Innova car. Every day we are shooting his scenes in five different locations and it has been a hectic schedule for the entire time but STR didn’t even complain about anything. We shot him from 12 PM to 12.30 AM but still, he came fresh on the next day.”
