Vijay Sethupathi-starrer ‘Sindhubaadh’, which was slated to hit the screens last week, could not do so following legal issues. However, it seems the problems have been sorted out now.
Following this, the film will hit the screens this week and this has been confirmed by the makers. This means the movie will compete with Lakshmy Ramakrishnan’s ‘House Owner’ in the box-office, despite a request from the actress-filmmker-TV anchor not to do so.
Lakshmy has asked Vijay Sethupathi to postpone the release of ‘Sindhubaadh’. “I request @VijaySethuOffl to be the soldier and save our small, starless film Request the producers to give time and respect for already scheduled films. Announce your date 15 days ahead & rock,” she tweeted.
Kishore, Sriranjani, and Lovelyn Chandrasekhar play key roles in ‘House Owner’, while Anjali and Vijay Sethupathi’s son Surya play pivotal roles in ‘Sindhubaadh’.
