Fans, who became upset after they came to know that their favourite director Mani Ratnam was hospitalised, now have a good news to rejoice. Yes, the filmmaker is out of hospital and has resumed work too.
Initially it was said that he suffered from a cardiac arrest for the third time. However now, it has emerged that he visited the hospital for a routine health check-up.
Mani’s publicist Nikkil Murugan wrote on Twitter: “After a routine Check up Maniratnam sir back to office today with his routine work. All is Well..,@hasinimani @MadrasTalkies.”
It all started when a Twitter user named Lokesh Jey shared an image of Mani Ratnam and wrote, “Director #ManiRatnam admitted to Greams Road Apollo hospital due to cardiac problems.”
Mani Ratnam is currently busy with his magnum opus based on legendary Tamil novel ‘Ponniyin Selvam’. The multi-starrer has actors from across languages and the list includes Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
