There was a buzz in industry circles that Dhanush has shut down his production house Wunderbar Films, following a string of unsuccessful ventures.
However, the National Award winning actor has denied this. Speaking at an event to promote the Hindi dubbed version of his Hollywood venture ‘The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir’, Dhanush denied closing down his production house.
He also said that his upcoming film, director Vetrimaaran’s ‘Asuran’, is nearing the finish line and he has also completed shooting 50 per cent of RS Durai Senthilkumar’s film.
Soon, Dhanush will start shooting for a film to be helmed by ‘Ratsasan’ director Ram Kumar’s new film. While Manju Warrier shares the screen space with Dhanush in ‘Asuran’, a period flick, Sneha is his love interest in Durai Senthilkumar’s flick.
It may be recalled that Wunderbar Films had bankrolled movies such as Dhanush-starrer ‘VIP’, Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Ethirneechal’ and superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaala’.
