‘C/O Kacherapalem’ to be remade in Tamil, Malayalam

Critically acclaimed Telug film ‘C/O Kancherapalem’ is all set to speak in Tamil and Malayalam. The film wil be remade in these south Indian languages soon, say sources.

Talking about the development, director Venkatesh Maha, said, ““I don’t know about Malayalam but the Tamil remake is in pre-production at the moment. They will even begin shoot next month or so with Hemambar Jasti (who had worked as co-director in many films) helming the remakes.”

According to M Rajasekhar Reddy, one of the co-producers of the film, “We are currently scouting for locations in Tamil Nadu, with an office set up in Chennai too. Sixty percent of the pre-production work is done.”

The film is an unconventional love story set in the town and including the people of Kancherapalem in Vishakapatnam.  Radha Bessy, Mohan Bhagath and Praveena Paruchuri have played key roles in the movie.
