Even as Kamal Haasan is getting ready to host the third season of ‘Bigg Boss’, the Madurai bench of the Madras High Court on Monday granted him conditional anticipatory bail in cases related to his controversial ‘Hindu terrorist’ speech.
The promo of ‘Bigg Boss’ is being aired on Vijay TV and it has Kamal talking about the real faces of people. Buzz is that actors Prasanna, ‘Power Star’ Srinivasan and ‘Jangiri’ Madhumitha among others will be the inmates of the reality show’s ‘house’ this time.
Meanwhile, talking at the audio and trailer launch function of R Parthiepan’s ‘Oththa Seruppu Size 7’, Kamal stated that he missed acting in Shankar’s debut film ‘Gentleman’ and Parthiepan’s debut film ‘Puthiya Pathai’.
In his address in the presence of both Shankar and Parthiepan, Kamal said, “I had to say ‘no’ to Parthiepan’s Puthiya Pathai because I couldn’t allocate dates. But later I saw the film, felt happy for him. He handled a simple concept in a unique way. Just like SP Muthuraman, Parthiepan earns happiness by making others happy and consider their film events as his own function.”
On how he missed Shankar’s ‘Gentleman’, he said, “I remember meeting Shankar at Prasad Studios, he narrated the script of Gentleman but couldn’t take up the offer due to unavoidable reason.”
