In a shocking development, Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly walked out of his Tamil debut ‘Uyarndha Manithan’, in which he was acting alongside S J Suryah.
However, Suryah has expressed hope of getting the ‘Big B’ back on the sets soon. “There is a small issue between production company and bigB Saab …. will sort it out and take it forward…. after monster release I will go to Mumbai to sort out those issues and take it forward….”
He added: “Myself and dir Tamilvaanan have already sorted so many issues to take it to this stage …. where we got the great tweet on the 3rd day of the shoot from big B Saab out of love and respect for our work …. ignore negativity..”
Recently, Amitabh uploaded on his Twitter page a still from ‘Uyarndha Manithan’, in which he and Suryah were standing next to a wall with a photograph of Sivaji.
“Two disciples under the shadow of the master — Sivaji Ganesan — Surya and self! Shivaji the ultimate, iconic legend of Tamil Cinema,” Amitabh wrote.
He added: “His picture adorns the wall. An artist of such immensity and incredible talent. My respect and admiration. I touch his feet!”
