Vijay’s 63rd film, which is being fondly called as ‘Thalapathy 63’, will increase the interest of youngsters in football, sources close to the unit say.
“Both Vijay and director Atlee are fans of football. This sports-based film revolves on that game and it will sure draw many youngsters, who are now glued to cricket, towards football,” they add.
Meanwhile, Reba Monica John, who had played the female lead in Jai-starrer ‘Jarugandi’, is playing a football player coached by Vijay in ‘Thalapathy 63’. A photo of her from the sets of the movie has made it to the internet and her face in the picture shows her a survivor of either an acid attack or fire mishap.
Nayanthara and Indhuja too play key roles in the flick, which has musical score by Oscar-Grammy winner A R Rahman. Being produced by AGS Entertainment on a lavish budget, the film will hit the screens for Deepavali.
If sources are to be believed, its title and first look will be released next month to mark the birthday of Vijay.
