Friday (May 10) was a day of mixed emotions for Vishal. While thee release of his film ‘Ayogya’ was stalled due to financial issues, the Madras High Court refused to give relief to him in the issue of the government appointing a special officer to manage the affairs of Tamil Film Producers Council, which was hitherto headed by him.
But, in some good news from his front, it was announced that his wedding with his girlfriend Anisha will happen on October 9. While confirming this, Vishal however said the venue and other details are yet to be finalised.
Meanwhile, expressing disappointment about the hurdle faced by ‘Ayogya’, he tweeted: “As I wait. For my hardwork called #ayogya to release. I did my best.more than an actor. as always. I groomed my child since it came on my lap. BUT.not enuf??? #gajjnimohamed. My time will come. I continue my journey.”
While hearing a plea, Justice S Vaidyanathan of the Madras High Court refrained from granting an interim stay after the government assured him that the ad hoc committee would not interfere with the administration of the council by the special officer and that it had been constituted only at the insistence of the Inspector General of Registration.
