Rajini, Kamal shocked over Sri Lankan blasts

Superstar Rajinikanth, Makkal Needhi Maiam founder-president Kamal Haasan, filmmaker and Naam Tamizhar Katchi chief Seeman and others have condemned Sunday’s blasts in Sri Lanka, in which more than 200 persons were killed and over 400 were injured.
“I have no words to console people who were affected by the bomb blast that happened on the Easter Day,” Rajinikanth said in a tweet, expressed shock over the incidents.
Kamal said, “Ironic that the island that spawned the word serendipity is not able to find it. My deepest sympathies to those affected by the bombs in Sri Lanka. The Government should be impartial and swift in rendering justice.”
Condoled the deaths, Seeman pointed out that it was a planned attack. The attacks on Easter day occurred in Churches located in areas where Tamil Christians predominantly live. Many have condemned the attack and termed it as ‘totally inhuman and merciless’.
