With his proposed project ‘Indian 2’ with Kamal Haasan reportedly not taking off due to various reasons, it seems director Shankar would join hands with Tollywood mega star Chiranjeevi.
According to reports from Tollywood, Chiranjeevi has given his dates to his brother-in-law and veteran producer Allu Aravind for his next movie and Allu Aravind wants to his film to be very special. So, he approached Shankar.
It is said that the mega budget project would get a kickstart by the middle of the year and it would be grand on all scales. “It will be a multilingual and will simultaneously be released in Tamil and Hindi too, apart from Telugu,” sources said.
Shankar’s last film was ‘2.0’ featuring superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. The film was a sequel to the duo’s 2010 super hit movie ‘Enthiran’ (‘Robot’) which penned history in the Indian box office.
