Samantha, Kamal feel bad for Radha Ravi

Radha Ravi’s comments on Nayanthara and other actresses at a recent film function in Chennai have attracted widespread condemnations.

Kamal Haasan said: “Being an actor himself, he shouldn’t have degraded a fellow actress. It’s very disappointing because it’s a prime duty even for an ordinary man to treat women with respect. Hope people concerned condemn him.”

Samantha Akkineni said, “Sighhh Mr.Radha Ravi the struggle to stay relevant. You’re a sad man and we all feel sorry for you . May your soul or whatever is left of it find peace. We’ll send you tickets for Nayanthara’s next superhit film .. have some popcorn and take a chill pill.”

Siddharth stated: “I was shocked that my entire fraternity was either silent or cynical about the #MeToo movement; I silently rued the fact that it would take only the anger of a powerful woman to make the sleeping wake up. If you speak up only when your own are affected, it’s not called bravery.”
He added: “To any woman with influence who chose to be silent about #MeToo because of petty insecurity or prioritized outrage, please know you are as guilty as the men who dismissed the movement out of inherent misogyny. Each individual must take responsibility irrespective of gender. Women who chose to stay silent about other womens’ #MeToo survivor stories. It’s twitter, so I sometimes need to over state even the obvious.”
