A crucial scene from Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’, a film on the life of matinee idol-turned-Chief Minister N T Rama Rao, has been doing rounds on the social media.
Called as ‘Viceroy Hotel scene’, it is about NTR’s son Chandrababu Naidu, who is now the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, dislodging him from the CM post and putting MLAs in Viceroy Hotel.
RGV tweeted recently: “Film #LakshmisNTR releasing on March 22nd Election on April 11th First show muhurtham fixed at 12 2+2 +1+1+1+2 = 9 NTR’s Lucky Number.”
On Valentine’s Day, Ram Gopal Varma released the trailer of the movie. Releasing the teaser, RGV tweeted: “Here is the trailer of the most intense and dramatic love story ever. Wish you all a very happy Valentine’s Day.”
The film is about NTR’s controversial second marriage to Lakshmi Parvathi, which divided the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) founder’s family and ultimately led to his son-in-law Chandrababu Naidu taking over the reins of the party and the government in 1995.
