Krishna Nee Begane….

Krishnam

– Review

‘Krishnam’ is based on a real-life incident. Directed by Dinesh Baboo, it conveys the message that belief and strong conviction will make you a victor.

Based on a true incident happened in Trichur, Kerala, the film portrays the intense and pristine relationship of a father and son and their devotion to God, interspersed with moments of happiness, pain and peace.
Akshay Krishnan is a college going youngster who is loved by everyone around. He shares a great relationship with his father Balakrishnan (Sai Kumar), a rich entrepreneur.

Akshay is attached well to his mother Meera (Shanthi Krishna) too. Balakrishna is so friendly with his son that he finds remedies for Akshay’s love affair with his collegemate Radhika (Aiswarya Ullas).
When things are going very smooth, Akshay, all of a sudden, collapses on stage during a dance competition. He is soon diagnosed with a serious ailment.

Since Balakrishnan is an ardent devotee of Lord Guruvayurappa, he strongly believes that the Almighty will cure his son. What happens to his belief is the rest of Krishnam.

Akshay Krishnan who acts himself in the film befittingly portrays the lead role sans any grave flaws. Balakrishnan has emoted well, while the rest of the cast, which includes Renji Panicker, Shanthi Krishna, Aiswarya Ullas and Dr. Sunil, are good.

With music by Hari Prasad and Dileep Singh, editing by Abhilash Balachandran and cinematography (by director Dinesh Baboo) adding value to the movie, ‘Krishnam’ will impress devotees of Lord Krishna and other believers.
