Aishwarya Rajesh, who played a cricketer in her recent Tamil flick ‘Kanaa’ produced by Sivakarthikeyan, is playing a wrestler in her Telugu movie.
The flick will be helmed by NV Nirmal Kumar, who had earlier helmed Tamil movies such as Vijay Antony-starrer ‘Salim’ and ‘Sathuranga Vettai 2’.
The yet-to-be-titled film stars Pradeep Rawat (‘Ghajini’ villain) as Aishwarya Rajesh’s father. Uday Shankar is the hero of the movie, while Aishwarya plays a tomboy, who goes on to fulfill her family’s dream of winning an international wrestling competition.
This apart, the ‘Kaaka Muttai’ and ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ actress is also busy with another Telugu project, which has Vijay Deverakonda in lead role.
Recently, at the success meet of ‘Kanaa’, Aishwarya Rajesh said success meets are being conducted no matter whether a movie is really a hit or not. These remarks landed her in a contorversy.
