Udhayanidhi Stalin’s much awaited ‘Psycho’, which was to be directed by Mysskin, was stalled after the Madras High Court ordered that the filmmaker can’t make the movie with any other actor other than Mythreya.
The direction was issued after the young actor moved the Court alleging that Mysskin breached the agreement with his father who paid the director a huge advance amount.
Udhayanidhi, who had maintained silence on the issue so far,has now opened up on it in a video interview. “The producer also approached us saying that the script was narrated to them. But I told them that the same script was narrated to me a few years back.
As I am not the producer of Psycho, couldn’t take any decision on the matter. Later, when I asked Mysskin, he told me that he will deal them through legal proceedings. We have almost finished the shoot, only fifteen days left in the film,” the actor-producer said.
Aditi Rao Hydari, Nithya Menon and director Ram play important roles in the flick, which has cinematography by P C Sreeram and music by maestro Ilayaraja.
