Ashok Selvan, who shared the screen space with Janani Iyer in the critically acclaimed crime thriller ‘Thegidi’, will team up with the actress once again, this time also for a murder mystery.
Meanwhile, the young actor is stepping into the neighbouring Mollywood, as he is playing a key role in Priyadarshan’s period film ‘Marakkar — Arabikadalinte Simham’, which has Mohanlal playing the role of Kunjali Marakkar.
Happy about being part of the project, Ashok Selvan said, “I am honoured to be part of this project. I play a negative role… something that I have been wanting to try out for a long time. This is my second project with Priyadarshan sir after ‘Sila Samayangalil’.”
Ashok has been learning Malayalam in a bid to give his best for the movie. “Malayalam is similar to Tamil and I find it easy to learn the language,” smiles the actor.
