Rajini returns from US, reveals how ‘Petta’ was made

Superstar Rajinikanth, who went to the United States during the last week of December 2018, returned to Chennai on Thursday, on a day when his ‘Petta’ witnessed a grand opening.

Speaking to reporters outside his Poes Garden residence, the top actor said, “I am so happy that ‘Petta’ is being liked by fans. My work is make them happy. If they are happy, I am happy.”

He praised director Karthik Subbaraj for making ‘Petta’ a successful movie. “All credits go to Karthik and the whole team. I only did what the director wanted me to. They motivated me a lot and got the best out of me.”
The ‘thalaivar’ refused to reply when a reporter wanted to know about his political plans. However, sources say works are nearing completion as far as floating a political party is concerned.
