GV Prakash Kumar, who is eagerly expecting the release of ‘Sarvam Thaala Mayam’, has been roped in for a film to be produced by ace director Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies banner.
Interestingly, script for the movie has been penned by Mani himself and it will be directed by Dhana Sekaran, an erstwhile associate of the ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ and ‘Uyire’ maker.
It may be recalled that Dhana Sekaran had recently debuted as a filmmaker with the rural tale ‘Padaiveeran’ featuring playback singer Vijay Yesudas in the lead role.
‘Sarvam Thaala Mayam’, which was slated to hit the screens during the last weekend of 2018, was postponed in the last minute due to some ‘unavoidable reasons’.
Recently, the movie’s music composer and Oscar-Grammy winner A R Rahman, who is the maternal uncle of GVP, has announced the film’s release plans.
With Rahman announcing that ‘Sarvam Thaala Mayam’ will be only releasing on February 2019, it is learnt that the movie will be promoted in a big way by its makers due to the enough time they have in hands.
