It appears that the shoot of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’ directed by Shankar, which was supposed to start during the second week of December, will commence only during the middle of January.
While some sources say the reason behind this is the delay in the completion of set works, there are others who say the shoot has been postponed to Tamil month Thai since Margazhi is not considered too good to start new ventures.
Kamal Haasan, who is getting busy as politician, had recently announced retirement from his legendary career in cinema. He has said his upcoming film ‘Indian 2’ will be his last movie.
In a media interaction, he said, “Makkal Needhi Maiam will field candidates in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Tamil Nadu. I will quit acting after the upcoming project ‘Indian 2’, the shooting of which is slated to start on December 14.”
He added: “I will have to wind up to be effective as a politician…you have to dedicate time totally. But I will have my production company continuing in the field. Somebody else will run it.” Kajal Agarwal is the heroine of ‘Indian 2’.
