Samantha, who is back to back shooting for her films in Telugu and Tamil, is planning to take a break from the hectic work schedule to stay with family during Christmas.
She is already posting picturess of pre-festive hungama and has already decorated Christmas tree by taking help from her friend Sadhna Singh.
“So much gratitude for the year that has been,” the actress, who had a great year with hit movies like ‘Mahanati’ (‘Nadigayar Thilakam’), ‘U Turn’, ‘Irumbu Thirai’ and ‘Seema Raja’, added.
In the meantime, Samantha is getting ready to shoot for a fantasy comedy in Telugu and Tamil. Samantha’s good friend Nandini Reddy is helming the project, which is tipped to be the official remake of Korean film ‘Miss Granny’.
‘Miss Granny’ is a 2014 South Korean comedy-drama film directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk. Na Moon-hee stars as a woman in her 70s who magically finds herself in the body of her 20-year-old self (Shim Eun-kyung) after having her picture taken at a mysterious photo studio.
After opening in theaters on January 22, 2014, it became a huge box office hit, with 8.65 million tickets sold. It is to be noted that Samantha is lately focussing on women-oriented flicks and this one may elevate her career to great heights.
