The suspense over Vijay Sethupathi’s character in superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Petta’ has finally been revealed. The versatile actor plays Jithu, a dreaded villain.
The first look, which was released on Tuesday, features him holding a gun with a fierce laugh on his bloodied face. In the background, there is a figure in the shadows walking towards Jithu and it looks like Rajinikanth.
The movie has Simran, Trisha and Bobby Simha in key roles and their looks and character names are to be revealed in the days to come. Meanwhile, Sun Pictures is planning a grand audio launch function for ‘Petta’ on Sunday.
Already, the ‘Marana Mass Thalaivar Kuthu’ single composed by Anirudh Ravichander has emerged a chartbuster and has shattered records on YouTube. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, ‘Petta’ is tipped to be an out and out ‘thalaivar’ film. The movie is slated to hit the screens for Pongal 2019.
