Musical gift for Ajith fans in ‘Viswasam’

The original plan was to have four songs and one theme track in Ajith’s ‘Viswasam’. However, music composer D Imman, after seeing the visuals, felt the need for one more track and included it immediately.
Giving an update on this, lyricist Viveka posted on social media: “Yesterday we met for one more song in #Viswasam its a wonderful melody track from @immancomposer thanks to @directorsiva #Ajith #Thala #ViswasamUpdates. Its a heart touching background song #Viswasam.”
Directed by Siva, ‘Viswasam’ features Ajith in a dual role. Nayanthara is the heroine, while Thambi Ramaiah is playing a key character.
Ever since Sun Pictures announced that superstar Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Petta’ will be released for Pongal, there was an expectation that ‘Viswasam’, which too was slated to hit the screens for the harvest festival, will be released on a later date.
However, the makers of ‘Viswasam’ are keen about releasing the film for Pongal and said that they would not back out from the schedule. Producer T G Thyagarajan was quoted as saying: “We had planned the film as a Pongal release and have been working towards it for the past eight months. Now, they (Sun Pictures) have announced this decision all of a sudden. But we are very clear and confident that Ajith will also draw big crowds.”
