A big fight is on cards in the Kollywood box-office on November 16, with a bunch of interesting movies gearing up to hit the screens simultaneously.
Jyothika’s ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’, Vijay Antony’s ‘Thimiru Pudichavan’, Udhayaa’s ‘Utharavu Maharaja’, Nakul-starrer ‘Sei’ and Vidharth-starrer ‘Chithiram Pesuthadi 2’ are slated to see the light of the day on November 16.
Vijay Antony was earlier set to release ‘Thimiru Pudichavan’ for Deepavali, but shifted it to November 16 due to intense competition from Vijay’s ‘Sarkar’. Likewise, ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’ was slated to hit the screens in October itself, but was shifted to this weekend.
Talking about ‘Thimiru Pudichavan’ at a recent media interaction, Vijay Antony said he was confident about the movie’s success. The music composer-turned-actor is playing a police officer for the first time in this movie.
Nivetha Pethuraj too is playing a police officer for the first time in ‘Thimiru Pudichavan’. According to director Ganesha, “There will be power-packed action sequences and an intense drama. Instead of the regular hero-villain kind of sequences, this one is a mind game.”
