Yes, after ‘Polladhavan’, ‘Aadukalam’ and ‘Vada Chennai’, the fourth film of the director and the actor will be based on a modern classic Tamil novel ‘Vekkai’ which talks about the politics of revenge written by Poomani.
Dhanush has said the shoot of ‘Vada Chennai 2’ will commence in 2019 and they are also having plans to shoot the third part of the film in 2020.
Tipped to be a gangster thriller film, ‘Vada Chennai’ is written and directed by Vetrimaran. Dhanush plays the role of a national level carrom player. Produced by A Subaskaran’s Lyca Productions and Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films with Vetrimaran’s Grass Root Film Company, the movie has music by Santhosh Narayanan.
Besides Dhanush, the movie has Samuthirakani, Aishwarya Rajesh, Ameer and Andrea Jeremiah in key roles. Expectations are running high on the movie.
