In the news for the past one week after singer Chinmayi started making sexual charges against him which was followed by other women too, lyricist Vairamuthu issued a video statement on Sunday.
Stating that he has collected “unassailable evidence” in his defence, he said in the brief video statement that he was ready to face those accusing him in the court.
“Allegations levelled against me are totally false, motivated. If they are true, those concerned can file a case against me. I am waiting to face,” he said.
He further said in past one week he held in-depth deliberations with senior lawyers and intellectuals on the issue. “None should decide if I am a good or a bad person. Let the court decide. I will bow to the court’s verdict,” he added.
Following the video statement of Vairamuthu, Chinmayi reacted on Twitter by saying that Vairamuthu should undergo a lie detector test.
