Bomb threat to Mani Ratnam’s office over ‘CCV’ dialogue

A miscreant has issued bomb threat to director Mani Ratnam’s office at Abiramapuram in Chennai over phone, urging him to remove a particular dialogue in his recent release ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’.
Following the anonymous threat call, a complaint has been filed with the police on behalf of the ace filmmaker. Bomb squad officials rushed to the office of Mani and conducted a thorough search.
At the end of frisking, it was found that the call was a hoax. However, the police have launched a hunt to trace out the caller.
‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’, which hit the screens on Thursday last, is a gangster movie that throws light on power struggle between siblings in an influential family.
Arvindsamy, Vijay Sethupathi, STR, Arun Vijay, Jyotika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha and Dayanna Erappa played key roles in this flick, which has music by A R Rahman and cinematography by Santhosh Sivan.
