Fans of actor Vijay have criticised the trailer of Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film ‘Seema Raja’, in which the ‘Remo’ and ‘Rajini Murugan’ actor, according to them, had copied Vijay.
Pointing out to a particular scene in the trailer, in which Sivakarthikeyan was seen with two horses, they said the scene was copied from Vijay’s ‘Mersal’. Few others went to the extent of complaining to the Animal Welfare Board of India, alleging that the body failed to notice this in trailer.
The trailer, which was released on Saturday night, kicked up a controversy earlier, with a tweet from actor Arun Vijay’s handle causing furore.
It read: “Every Tom, Dick, and Harry started playing mass heroes in Tamil cinema. Tamil audiences know who I’m talking about #SupportTrueTalent High time”.
With the above post generating huge criticism, Arun Vijay deleted it and said his Twitter account was hacked.
“To all my sincere followers, the account issue has been resolved promptly! I appreciate all of you for understanding the situation. For all these years that I’ve been in the industry, I know the value of hardwork and patience,” he said.
The actor, who is part of Mani Ratnam’s ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ and a crime thriller called ‘Thadam, said, “No one’s greater or smaller. I’ve always respected talent and will continue to do so. I’ve never had and never need to demean a colleague.Kindly don’t divide the healthy brotherhood we actors share.”
