Dhanush is eagerly looking forward for October 17, for it was on this day his long pending venture ‘Vada Chennai’ will see the light of the day.
The National award winning actor, who is playing a carrom player called Anbu, posted on Twitter: “#vadachennai … #anbu .. Son of destiny ; prince of the hood .. arrives #october17.”
One among the highlights of ‘Vada Chennai’ teaser which was released recently was a lip-lock shared by Dhanush with Aishwarya Rajesh. Though it appeared for a few seconds, the kissing scene generated enough steam. When probed, sources said it was an integral part of the story.
“Since the script demanded it, both Dhanush and Aishwarya, who are dedicated actors, had no issues in doing it,” sources said.
The film is written and directed by Vetrimaran. This movie tells about 35 years of people’s life in North Chennai.
Produced as a trilogy by A Subaskaran’s Lyca Productions and Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films with Vetrimaran’s Grass Root Film Company, it features Dhanush in the lead role with Samuthirakani, Aishwarya Rajesh and Andrea Jeremiah in other key roles.
