Love never dies
Pyaar Prema Kaadhal
Tamil cinema always has a special space for romantic entertainers and nothing works like love here. Understanding this fully well, Yuvan Shankar Raja, in his first venture as producer, has bankrolled a rom-com.
Directed by Elan, ‘Pyaar Prema Kaadhal’ is a youthful love story that features Bigg Boss-I participants Harish Kalyan and Raiza Wilson in lead roles.
The story goes like this: Sri (Harish) is a typical middle class youngster, whose world revolves around his parents and friend Thangaraj (Munishkanth), a tailor in his locality.
In the office, he comes across Sindhuja (Raiza), whose only aim in life is to own a restaurant in Los Angeles. It is love at first sight for Sri.
Both become friends and also take their relationship to next level. However, when it comes to making things official, Sri prefers the traditional marriage.
But Sindhuja wants to be practical before entering the wedlock and she prefers live-in relationship mode. This leads to trouble between the pair.
The chemistry between Harish and Raiza has worked out well and it attracts our eyes towards the screen. Performance wise too, they have done well. Rekha, Pandian, Anand Babu and Munishkanth have done justice to their respective roles.
Yuvan Shankar Raja has come up with lovely music, both in songs and in background score. The script is youthful and balanced. All these things make us ‘Pyaar Prema Kaadhal’ without much complaints despite the film being cliched in parts.
