Suriya fans who recently celebrated the birthday of their favourite star in a grand manner were in for a shock when they came to know that the actor’s upcoming film ‘NGK’, which was scheduled to hit the screens for Deepavali, would be delayed.
And the reason behind the delay, reports claimed, was the ill-health of director Selvaraghavan. It was said the ‘Kaadhal Konden’ and ‘Pudupettai’ maker underwent appendix surgery and was advised rest by doctors.
Meanwhile, clearing the air on the news surrounding his health, Selva tweeted: “Hi friends. It was a simple medical procedure. I’m perfectly fine and have resumed work.”
He added: “Shooting for #NGK will start in next couple of days. Once again thank you all for your love and concern. 🤗🤗🤗” So, will ‘NGK’ see the light of the day on the day of lights? Well, let us wait and watch.
