Akkineni Nagarjuna is extremely confident about the success of his upcoming flick ‘Officer’, which has been directed by Ram Gopal Varma.
Speaking at a pre-release event, Nagarjuna said he and other members of the team are happy about the response they are getting from the trailer and posters of the movie.
RGV said, “Although I have never done any ‘punyam’ in my life, I have been lucky to meet this good person called Nagarjuna. Is it because of past life’s deeds? I don’t know. I can’t say anything more as I might end up having tears in my eyes. If I cry, my reputation will go.”
He added: “In Officer, I have seen Nag’s ultimate heroism. I have watched a number of movies in the last 30 years, read lots of fiction and have had so many experiences. To fight a powerful villain, the hero has to become that much bigger. That’s what you will see in Officer. I have turned an officer into a criminal in this film, as I was done with making films on criminals, like street goondas, gangsters and factionists.”
The film has Akkineni Nagarjuna and Myra Sareen in the lead roles, with Baby Kaavya, Feroz Abbasi, Sayaji Shinde and Ajay in other crucial roles.
Ram Gopal Varma has produced the movie in partnership with Sudheer Chandra Production.
