A day after the grand audio launch of ‘Kaala’, superstar Rajinikanth on Thursday held crucial discussions with the office-bearers of Rajini Makkal Manram at his Poes Garden residence in Chennai.
According to sources, they spoke about holding a mega conference at Coimbatore next month to formally launch their political party.
After the meet, Rajinikanth posted a tweet along with a couple of photographs and described the meeting as ‘constructive’.
On Wednesday night, speaking at ‘Kaala’ audio launch, Rajini promised that people of Tamil Nadu can hope for a great future soon. “When the time comes all good things will happen to Tamil Nadu,” he said.
He said that interlinking south Indian rivers is his only dream, and he will be happy to die after realising it.
“I liked the script of ‘Linga’ movie. The concept of water scarcity is close to my heart. I go to Himalayas to see river Ganga. The movie talks about building dams for people. My only dream is to interlink south Indian rivers. I will be happy if I die a day after that. I love ‘Linga’ character,” he added.
