Nandita Swetha, who loves to do challenging and experimental roles, is at it again. The ‘Attakathi’ and ‘Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara’ actress will play a young mother in her next, ‘Narmadha’.
Helmed by debutante Geetha Rajput, the movie is said to be a female-centric one. Says the director, “It is a family drama that revolves around the relationship between a mother and her son.”
Giving more details, she says, “Nandita, for the first time, will play a young, bold and energetic mother of a seven-year-old. This will be a challenging role and definitely not run-of-mill role or script.”
Vijay Vasanth, MS Bhaskar and Santhosh Prathap will be seen in key roles in this flick, which will have debutant Renesh playing Nandita’s son. In the past, while Amala Paul had played a mother in ‘Amma Kanakku’, Aishwarya Rajesh played one in ‘Kaaka Muttai’.
