Though she is already a popular face in Tamil Nadu thanks to ‘Premam’, Sai Pallavi is pinning big hopes on ‘Diya’, her first straight Tamil film.
“I was given a good role and I hope I have done justice to it. Audience have to tell more,” she says with an optimistic smile.
The film, directed by A L Vijay and produced by Lyca, will hit the screens on April 27. It was earlier titled ‘Karu’.The film also has Naga Shourya, Baby Veronica, RJ Balaji, Santhana Bharathi, Rekha and Nizhalgal Ravi in key roles.

“Though I am not allowed to reveal too many details, this film is about a mother and her daughter and their emotions. When I do a film, it is about how I become a character,” she said.
