Lately, Vijay has made it a trend to cast popular stars as villains in his movies. After Mahendran in ‘Theri’, Jagapathi Babu in ‘Bairavaa’ and S J Suryah in ‘Mersal’, Radha Ravi has now been roped in for the upcoming flick of ‘Thalapathi’, directed by A R Murugadoss.
And Radha Ravi is all praise for Vijay. He said in an interview: “Vijay is very humble and down to earth on the sets even though he is one of the big stars today.”
“Vijay doesn’t go to his caravan during breaks and patiently sleeps on the floor. Also, AR Murugadoss doesn’t carry the aura of a director,” added Radha Ravi.
While Vijay plays a businessman in this yet-untitled film, Radha Ravi is said to be playing a powerful politician. Keerthy Suresh and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar play key roles in this flick produced by Sun Pictures. It has music by A R Rahman.
