The shoot of Ajith’s upcoming flick ‘Viswasam’, which was slated to start later this week, has been put on hold, following the strike call by Tamil Film Producers Council.
“Since the TFPC has announced there will be no film-related activities including shoots from March 16, it has been decided to temporarily halt the shoot of ‘Viswasam’ till the issue gets resolved,” sources said.

According to sources, the film, which is untitled yet, will be produced by KJR Studios, which recently
bankrolled the critically acclaimed ‘Aramm’ starring Nayanthara in the lead role.
“Prabhu Deva met Ajith recently and narrated a script to him. The ‘thala’ is mightily impressed by the
story and his character in it,” sources said.
