It’s a romantic drama for Vijay-Anand Shankar

We had recently reported that Tollywood young gun Vijay Devarakonda would join hands with Kollywood filmmaker Anand Shankar for a Telugu-Tamil bilingual. Now we have more updates on it.

In a recent interaction, the ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Pelli Choopulu’ fame actor said that his film with Anand Shankar will be a romantic drama.

Stating that he hasn’t seen any of the films of Anand Shankar, he added that he only listen to the scripts and not the previous works of the filmmakers.

To be made in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously, the film will be bankrolled by K E Gnanavel Raja’s Studio Green.

“We are proud to introduce the south sesation to our Tamil cinema, Vijay Deverekonda,” said the production house.
Anand Shankar said, “Gnanavel Raja and I have been meeting over dinner and lunch since ‘Arima Nambi’ days. I was impressed with Vijay Devarakonda’s performance in ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Pelli Choopulu’. When I suggested Vijay’s name to Gnanavel, he was excited and later, everything fell
into place”.
