Only recently we reported that the shooting of Ajith’s ‘Viswasam’, directed by Siva, is expected to commence from February 22.
Now we have more updates on the flick. According to sources, the story is set in the backdrop of North Chennai and the ‘thala’ will be playing a don in the locality.
“As the title suggests, loyalty forms the basic knot of the movie and the script has been developed in such a way that it would keep the audience engaged and emotionally touched,” sources said.
It is learnt that the makers are planning to wrap up the shoot in July. “Post-production works will start immediately after the shoot and plans are on to release the film for Deepavali, as a festival treat for ‘thala’ fans,” sources added.
Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, who bankrolled Ajith-Siva’s earlier film ‘Vivegam’, the movie will have music by either Anirudh or Harris Jayaraj.
